France's Talent Passport, in plain language
Eleven sub-categories, four years of validity, and a paperwork burden lighter than most people fear.

The Passeport Talent is not one visa. It is eleven, sharing a single name. The two most-used: Salarié Qualifié for employees on a €43,243+ contract, and Création d'Entreprise for founders with a viable business plan and €30,000 in committed capital.
Both are valid for up to four years, both let your spouse work without a separate permit, and both lead — after five years of legal residence — to a long-term EU residence card.
